On Sunday the 23 May, we will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. This is the great celebration of the birth of the Church. The love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Spirit of God living within us. The Holy Spirit helps us to carry on the work of Jesus and gives us new life. May we follow Jesus and be guided by the Holy Spirit in all that we do.
The 2020 / 2021 Sacramental students will be celebrating their Confirmation in Term 2 and First Holy Communion in Term 3. We will be teaming up with the All Saints Catholic School Sacramental students. The Sacramental students will be required to attend three Confirmation Preparation Workshops:
The Rite of Confirmation will be celebrated at St Luke’s Church, Noarlunga Downs on Tuesday 29 June at 7pm. Our celebrant will be Archbishop Patrick O’Regan.
More information will be sent home to our Sacramental Program students soon and Year 4 students will have the opportunity to be part of the 2021 / 2022 Sacramental Program in Term 4. If any Year 4 parents would like any more information or would like to come and see me to discuss their child’s involvement in the Sacramental Program, you can come and speak to me anytime. If your child has not been baptised, we can organise this through Fr Josy and the Parish.
Year 2/3WM, Year 2/3MB and Year 2/3KL will be celebrating a Family Mass with Fr Josy at St Luke’s Parish on Sunday 23 May, starting at 9am. All are welcome.
Class Masses will continue each week in the School Chapel on Tuesday mornings.
God bless,
