Dear Families,

Welcome to Term 2!  I hope that you had a wonderful term break.  We welcome new families to St Johns this term and hope you have been made to feel welcome by our St John's Community.  We have prepared a school calendar for you and as you will see we have much to look forward to this term.  Please note that we will have a pupil free day for staff on Friday 11^th June.  Our staff will be involved in a retreat day with the focus on our St Dominic’s charism.  This will be a wonderful day for our staff to nurture their faith based on scripture, prayer and personal reflection.  Please note that OSHC will be available.  Please book in if you do require care for your children. 

Catholic Education South Australia is celebrating Catholic Education Week from 3 to 9 May 2021. Catholic Education Week is a great opportunity to highlight the wonderful things that are happening at St John the Apostle Parish School.

Catholic Education is celebrating 200 years in Australia. During this time Catholic schools have grown to become the largest provider of schooling in Australia (outside government) with one in five school age students attending a Catholic school.

To celebrate Catholic Education Week, Fr Josy will be leading a Whole School Mass on Thursday 6 May.

• Chess & Checkers Club at lunchtime in Yr 3KG classroom. All students are welcome to attend.  

TUESDAY 17th October 2023

• Construction Club at lunch.

WEDNESDAY 18th October 2023

• Fun Club at lunchtime for Receptions to Yr3 in Miss Matalone’s classroom.
• ATHLETICS squad Yr 3 to 6 trials – Long Jump event. Trials for the event of Long Jump will be held at the Beach (bottom of Gulfview Road) on Thursday 18th October at 3:30pm. This is open to any student in Yr 3 to 6 who would like to trial. For the Carnival in week 4, we take a male and female for each Yr level 3 to 6.
• Let’s Eat Lunch orders due by 9 pm via QKr!
  •  No late orders will be processed after 9 pm. Orders can be pre-ordered up to a month in advance.
